Pros

Could be a good place to work with better senior management in the airport division. You get good amount of paid time off starting out. Used to be a fun place to work until management changed during covid. Seems like they don’t want to keep good employees past the 5 years so they don’t have to pay more vacation time. I couldn’t see why this company had such a high turnaround rate when I first started, but I see why now.

Cons

They do not value their employees. I was a top employee for the whole 5 years I was there. Received multiple awards every year until I declined the position. They made me a ridiculously low offer to take a promotion and they weren’t going to fill in my position so I would of had to do everything myself for basically less pay because I would not be able to get overtime. I would have had to work 60-80 hours a week with no help and no extra pay. All I asked for was a couple grand more and they said no and were willing to let me walk. Instead they made me train a newly hired manager who had absolutely no experience in airports or with Clear Channel. They really make you feel worthless. They are good at that now. Raises are a joke and non existent basically. It’s pennies on the dollar raises. Like that’s going to make a difference in this economy. It was amazing how much I loved my job and how bad they ruined that. Then they just started treating me even worse because I declined the promotion. So I was forced to leave. In fact they even went as far into tricking me to leave so they wouldn’t have to pay unemployment. I was shocked at how they can just turn on an employee that has done so much for them. They purposely lowered my end of year review score once my manager left and would not give a reason as to why. I just got it is what it is and there is nothing we can do about it. I know why though it was so I wouldn’t be making more than the newly hired manager. Which I should of been making more anyway since I still managed the airports for a year until senior management could find someone for me to train. Pretty ridiculous isn’t it. I had to keep fixing his mistakes while he would get the credit for it anyway and took credit for work I did. There is no fair and equal opportunities at this company. The first 3-4 years I worked there I saw myself working there until I retired. Until they made the change in senior management and everything went downhill. Even their HR department was ignoring me and everything I said. They wouldn’t even respond to my emails until I followed up with them multiple times. So if you don’t have a manager title you are just ignored by everyone. I am very disappointed in this company. I saved/made this company millions of dollars and they just threw me out like trash. Actually people treat their trash better than this company treats their employees. I worked off the clock and came in on weekends and holidays all the time to make them look good for their clients, only to be treated like trash. They create new positions so they can give a promotion to someone inside the company and then hire someone from outside the company. They didn’t even interview me an employee of 5 years after I submitted an application for the position. Completely ignored once again. It’s a shame. They will make you feel good and important when they first hire you. Once you get close to that 5 years or don’t want a promotion that pays less than what you are currently making is when things change and they will do everything they can to get you to leave. I see there is a job opening for the position. The help I was not allowed to have.

Pros

Clear Channel Outdoor’s portfolio is genuinely impressive, and being part of one of the top three brands in out‑of‑home gives the role real weight. The job is especially rewarding when you’re helping SMB clients grow their visibility and watching their businesses evolve, while also supporting major brands in staying consistent and on‑message across markets. The product itself is strong, and when you’re in front of clients, you feel the value of what you’re selling.

Cons

Compensation for account executives could be more competitive, especially given the expectations and revenue responsibilities of the role. Improving base pay and commission structures would go a long way toward reducing the high turnover seen in many markets. Additionally, corporate tends to centralize decision‑making, which can limit local leadership’s ability to scale business based on the realities of their specific markets. Giving local teams more autonomy would create a better employee experience and ultimately drive stronger revenue performance.
