Pros

I have worked for 3 companies in my career as an IT professional, one large and two small. Each company has had its own unique attributes, but ClearEdge is by far the best. Why? 1. The benefits are outstanding -- and there are many that are unique to ClearEdge that you cannot find elsewhere -- like renting theaters for opening movie nights, once a month mug club, using the owner's condo in Ocean City, etc. 2. The people are treated very well - leadership cares about each and every employee- and the owner is very generous 3. The values of the company are not only on the wall, but followed -- I can't say anymore about how important this is to me. The first candidate interview coming in is centered around values and culture fit. It was amazing to watch the company build up food and donations for the local Food Drive -- I have never seen anything like it!!! 4. The organization is focused on employee growth, whether it be in-house Spark training. leadership training, or conferences -- there is a lot of emphasis on continuously learning and growing There is a reason why ClearEdge continuously wins Top Workplace awards.

Cons

The company has grown a significant amount over the past few years, so there are a few growing pains. But, management is listening and addressing the pains as they come up.

Pros

- Benefits package is really good but not worth the headache

Cons

- In my experience, leadership lacked clear direction, and the company appeared to be poorly managed. - I observed multiple instances where family members of executive leadership were employed, which gave the appearance of favoritism and limited advancement opportunities for others. - There was extremely high turnover during my time at the company, with many employees leaving within short periods. I also spoke with former employees from prior years who reported similar experiences. - Communication was inconsistent, yet expectations and workloads were often unrealistic. - It often felt that employees doing the majority of the work were undervalued, while others received recognition and advancement. - The overall work environment felt toxic at times, largely due to leadership style. - In my experience, the company’s top leadership demonstrated a pattern of behavior and remarks that I perceived as discriminatory, which made the workplace feel unwelcoming for employees from diverse backgrounds.
