I enjoyed the patients. They all loved me and they were the highlight of my day.

Cons

The company treated their CNA's poorly. Low pay, would fire you after one mistake, the charge nurses always acted like they were better than the CNA's and the company just let them.

Pros

The people. The quality of care provided, plus the care of staff for the patients. Communication across disciplines is stellar. The commitment to provide the best care by all hospital employees is inspiring and encouraging. My boss/the CEO - he is the literal best boss I've ever had in a 27-year career.

Cons

It is a bit tricky trying to find coverage for PTO for my position.

Staff is often rewarded with drink bars, lunch, and treats.

Cons

The nurse to patient ratio is at times too much. Things as this happen when another staff calls in placing heavy work load on other nurses and on call manager does not come in to help or find a solution. The pay is terrible and not a fair pay amongst nurses as there is a lot of favoritism.
