Pros

Great people. Fair pay, strong mission to make patients better. Not terribly hard to sell new ideas and ways of doing things to leadership. Travel, keep the points. Willing to spend money if it makes sense.

Cons

No idea why they decided to wait till they were in the midst of opening so many hospitals at once to hire only 2/3 of the manpower they needed. No IT director. Huge reliance on small crew to do A LOT. Hired in titles do way more than their scope says.

Pros

The people. The quality of care provided, plus the care of staff for the patients. Communication across disciplines is stellar. The commitment to provide the best care by all hospital employees is inspiring and encouraging. My boss/the CEO - he is the literal best boss I've ever had in a 27-year career.

Cons

It is a bit tricky trying to find coverage for PTO for my position.

Staff is often rewarded with drink bars, lunch, and treats.

Cons

The nurse to patient ratio is at times too much. Things as this happen when another staff calls in placing heavy work load on other nurses and on call manager does not come in to help or find a solution. The pay is terrible and not a fair pay amongst nurses as there is a lot of favoritism.
