not enough pay for location and work duties, run by a corporate office very disconnected with reality of heathcare. very cliquey HR department. Toxic work environment. not a lot of room for growth

Pros

The people. The quality of care provided, plus the care of staff for the patients. Communication across disciplines is stellar. The commitment to provide the best care by all hospital employees is inspiring and encouraging. My boss/the CEO - he is the literal best boss I've ever had in a 27-year career.

Cons

It is a bit tricky trying to find coverage for PTO for my position.

Pros

Staff is often rewarded with drink bars, lunch, and treats.

Cons

The nurse to patient ratio is at times too much. Things as this happen when another staff calls in placing heavy work load on other nurses and on call manager does not come in to help or find a solution. The pay is terrible and not a fair pay amongst nurses as there is a lot of favoritism.
