Pros
I am not in HR or marketing, but I am also not a disgruntled former employee with an axe to grind. I have been at ClearSlide for a while. I have seen lots and lots of change in that time, most of it for the better. The co-founders, are passionate guys who executed well for several years, and now the reigns have been handed over to new leadership who can manage the company at this point in its lifecycle. The recent changes around accountability and real transparency into all areas of the company and its progress is encouraging. I am looking forward to seeing what the next year brings, and working in an environment where everyone at all levels is empowered to do impactful work, question things that we don't understand or agree with, and work with some really good people. I think the company, and its employees have a good future. I look forward to being a part of it.
Cons
Along with the positive changes there have been some challenges. Some decisions have been made quickly, and not all of them have gone really well. There have been a few morale hits in the last three months, but nothing that would cause me to leave. Startups can be tumultuous. You have to work hard and expect some times of struggle and times of glide.
