Pros
Have been with the company now two years and have enjoyed it so far. Projects are interesting and working on one at a time allows you to focus and play a meaningful role on teams. Work is usually interesting and for me has ranged from focused evaluation of opportunities in diseases to big therapeutic area strategies that seem to be more common now (often it's us vs. a larger generalist consultancy like McKinsey or BCG).
Cons
Hours can be long for certain projects with fast timelines, but it seems comparable to friends in consulting - probably just comes with the job. I do think managers try to protect personal time but once in a while there are last-minute client needs, and it's definitely a client service-oriented business. Staffing across offices can be a challenge and even with video doesn't quite match being at the same site.
