Pros
I was at ClearView for over 3 years, starting as an analyst to an engagement manager. It is a fantastic place for professional development and helped me build a strong set of skills as a new grad entering the workforce. They include: - Oral communications - Frameworks & structured thinking - Team management - Strategic thinking When I left CV, I entered my future jobs at stages well above my peer group. Many individuals in my cohort did the same-- and have been very successful due to the accelerated growth and training opportunities at CV.
Cons
Worklife balance was very poor and like other consulting jobs, turnover is high. Most people I started with were gone by Year 3, as the pace of work was unsustainable. Further, the feedback culture was very intense and fixated on a narrow definition of success. Employees who did not fit this "mold" often felt inadequate and frustrated. It's not a place for everyone and management can work on its transparency and empathy.
