Pros

Some of the people at junior level are lovely, and the potential for growth is high

Cons

Gaslighting is rife at the company, with partners and those immediately below them being able to blame junior levels for their own failures. You'll be paid below your worth, and made to forego life to suit whatever they expect of you. During my time, I watched coworkers forego family commitments and never leave before midnight when they didn't have anything else to do, principals brag about how no one should work less than over the maximum in the country, others cry and the manager just carry on talking like it is nothing, mental health being shunned in a seminar about wellbeing and told to just manage your manager's toxic behaviour, and interns assumed to take the most senior workloads of the projects. It was traumatic to work at ClearView and I wouldn't ever recommend anyone else work at the company. The majority of people who work here end up leaving after two years due to burnout, and people of ethnic minorities and other minority groups completely blamed and belittled with continuous microaggressions.

Pros

- Very smart teams - Active role in narrative from day 1 - Good exits to investing / industry / med school - Can work remote 50% of time from basically anywhere

Cons

- No work life balance on diligences (weekends usually mostly protected though) - Very limited work life balance on 'normal' cases that is even less justifiable than diligences where deadline are tight--this is arguably more infuriating than first con - Pay is decent but could be better given extreme attrition at the firm
