Pros

Lovely People at Junior Level: The camaraderie and positive relationships among colleagues at the junior level contribute to a pleasant and supportive work environment. Nice Social Activities: Engaging in enjoyable social activities fosters team bonding and a more relaxed atmosphere, enhancing the overall work experience.

Cons

Incompetent People: Dealing with incompetence among colleagues can be frustrating, affecting both individual performance and team productivity. No Humanity: A lack of humanity in the workplace, possibly indicating a lack of empathy or understanding, can contribute to a negative and impersonal work culture. No Respect: If there's a pervasive lack of respect among team members or from management, it can create a toxic atmosphere, impacting job satisfaction and morale. Long Hours: Extended work hours can lead to burnout and negatively impact work-life balance, affecting overall well-being and job satisfaction. Wishy-Washy Mentality: A wishy-washy mentality in decision-making or a lack of clear direction can cause confusion, inefficiency, and frustration among employees.

Pros

- Very smart teams - Active role in narrative from day 1 - Good exits to investing / industry / med school - Can work remote 50% of time from basically anywhere

Cons

- No work life balance on diligences (weekends usually mostly protected though) - Very limited work life balance on 'normal' cases that is even less justifiable than diligences where deadline are tight--this is arguably more infuriating than first con - Pay is decent but could be better given extreme attrition at the firm
