I've worked at Clearlink for months, and I have always done really well. 2 months ago, I had a bad week and my current coach, my past coach and the sales manager called me into a meeting and basically told me that I was expendable and told me how awful I am at my job. Anyway, I went back on the phones and was fine for 2 months, then I had another bad week because I had some family issues going on that management was aware of. They called me into another meeting and told me the same thing. The next day, my coach pulled me into a one on one meeting and he told me that he was mad because me having a bad week impacted his pay check and said that if I have another bad day, I'd be let go and told me how awful I am at this job. So I quit. I have been told by multiple coaches to lie to my customers. In one situation, my manager was sitting next to me and told me word for word what to tell the customer, so I did. The next day, I got in trouble for that call and my manager scolded me for lying on the phone! Really? Also, on my sales floor, I know someone that had been doing extremely well on the phones but missed a lot of work. Clearlink has a points system, you get 4 points before you get let go. Well this guy I worked with was over 4 and was sure he was going to get fired. The next day, he came in and 2 of his points had "mysteriously" disappeared. It's nice that they'll take points away for their top rep but when another of their employees is in the hospital for a week, she gets fired because of her points. Another thing Clearlink has is unavailability time, you get 28% of your 40 hours not taking calls, so breaks, team meetings, lunch, etc. Well there was a girl who had been working there for a little over a month and she went over her unavailability time. Clearlink is supposed to give you a verbal, written and then final warning. But for some reason, they gave the girl her final warning and had her job threatened. My manger told me that they had originally planned on just firing her because she didn't seem like she fit in too well, but they figured they'd give her another chance. She ended up not coming in for a few days and getting fired for having too many points, but seriously, there are so many things wrong with this company. On multiple occasions, coaches have been sending inappropriate texts to employees. Something that would have been reported IF there had been an HR department in the Orem office at the time. Also, I recommend checking your pay stub after you get paid because I've had multiple issues with receiving my commission. Most people don't notice because almost everyone does direct deposit, and unless you go searching through a box of pay stubs, you won't ever get a break down of what you're receiving. Kind of sketchy... It seems like after you start receiving your benefits it's management's job to try and get you fired. Most people don't last too long there even though Clearlink talks about how much they love their employees and care about them. It's pretty rare if you make past 3-4 months. But if you're a skinny, pretty girl in your early 20's, you'll do great there. Because all the managers are pompous men, you'll get hired even if you have ZERO work experience, and as long as you flirt back with the coaches, you'll enjoy working there.

Pros

Clearlink is a great place to work. I've been here for a few years, and I'm not going anywhere. It's had it's ups and downs, but with a new CEO and new leadership, I'm excited about the direction of the company. Great company culture New leadership Hybrid/flex WFH schedule

Still expected to come in office/not fully remote Compensation could be more competitive

Clearlink went from a CEO that didn’t give a single care about the employees to new leadership that seems to care now but with that, I feel like the new people aren’t aware of what’s really going on. When you’re hired here, boy, do they sell you the dream! Everything is good, and slowly you start to lose hope & very quickly you learn this company is going downhill one way or another. I was part of the social team for years. We were promised growth and new opportunities and that NEVER happened. We’d bring up concerns about leadership in our individual team and the concerns were NEVER taken seriously, because as I easily learned, this company is like high school, they will protect their friends even if it means losing a brand partner. The higher ups will have random meeting to talk about the department & there’s specific higher ups who feel the need to show off their Disney trips/cruises while some of us are struggling to even keep up with bills and living paycheck to paycheck. Overall, there’s A LOT of broken promises on growth. Pay sucks and it’s hard to get a pay raise. Any concern you bring to a higher up will leave you ignored or they won’t do anything about it. Your career won’t grow here unless you’re BFFs with higher ups that have been there forever.
