Pros

Fun environment, lots of fun incentives and I made a lot of friendships there.

Cons

It's not really a sales job when you are required to follow a top to bottom system and you are restricted on what you can and cannot say to your customers and even if a customer says they are only calling in for one thing and they made it clear they don't want anything else since they've already called in and have been pitched by someone else you still have to pitch them everything or else they will listen to the call and fire you. On the same note you can get fired for anything, they fired my whole training class except for me and another guy and I later found out this is a regular thing for them. Managers and coaches play favorites, I had to kiss a ton of A there and after a while got sick of it and I'll never sink that low again. There is an incredible amount of FRAUD there due to system loop holes; 99% of there top sales agents are all performing loop holes to get around upfront deposits, past due balances and credit checks. I know so many people, even people that are prob still there now who all commit fraud. It wouldn't really surprise me if the company goes under and loses all there branding partners. They almost lost Centurylink as a branding partner when I was there. Oh and they always change their pay structure and their attendance policy to benefit the company. When I first started out they paid you a commission on what ever you sold by the time I left they now pay you on the amount of revenue you produce per hour, per call and as a floor percentage and they can take a large part of your commission away if you exceed 30 calls, if you don't attempt to sell everything on every call ( even if its just a call back), if you don't do top to bottom selling and if you word anything wrong on the phone calls. I was there for almost 3 years and my intentions aren't to ruin their reputation but this place is a joke and the worst part is the masquerade how great it is with there facebook page and they'll put on a show for you for your first few months. I'm now a mortgage loan officer, I make a six figure income, I don't have to work has hard making the S money I was making over at Clearlink, I have the ability and the freedom to sell whatever I want following my own process with no micro managing. There are so many sales job opportunities out there that'll give you a bigger paycheck with all the BS that Clearlink will give you cut right out of the equation. I would advise you to look another direction if you really want to make a solid commission.

Pros

-Uber Eats Vouchers/Vouchers for food on campus -PTO hours are added every week

Cons

Clearlink went from a CEO that didn’t give a single care about the employees to new leadership that seems to care now but with that, I feel like the new people aren’t aware of what’s really going on. When you’re hired here, boy, do they sell you the dream! Everything is good, and slowly you start to lose hope & very quickly you learn this company is going downhill one way or another. I was part of the social team for years. We were promised growth and new opportunities and that NEVER happened. We’d bring up concerns about leadership in our individual team and the concerns were NEVER taken seriously, because as I easily learned, this company is like high school, they will protect their friends even if it means losing a brand partner. The higher ups will have random meeting to talk about the department & there’s specific higher ups who feel the need to show off their Disney trips/cruises while some of us are struggling to even keep up with bills and living paycheck to paycheck. Overall, there’s A LOT of broken promises on growth. Pay sucks and it’s hard to get a pay raise. Any concern you bring to a higher up will leave you ignored or they won’t do anything about it. Your career won’t grow here unless you’re BFFs with higher ups that have been there forever.
