Pros

The only positive is working from home.

Cons

The first red flags are with the recruiters. They schedule your 1st intake call and don’t show up for the call. This happened to several of us. We unfortunately gave them the benefit of the doubt instead of going with our instincts. Clearlink was untruthful in the interview stage regarding roles, how the company works etc., In summary, they explain it as if you would always have an assignment and might be put on the bench once in awhile but still get paid. Far from the truth. They also state that they look to see what assignments are a fit. Again, far from the truth. It was very unethical and unfair to both the client and the team of Clearlink consultants. It was not a good look at all and ended up catching up with Clearlink from the client side. The real truth is Clearlink Partners is just another contract company who does not care at all about their employees. They really do not know what they are doing. Several nurses were let go from the assignment months before the assignment was to end and then were completely let go from Clearlink because Clearlink stated that they did not have anything for them. Come to find out, this has always been the recurrent trend back from 3 years ago according to former employees. You are just let go. Clearlink has zero leadership skills. Terrible at giving any clear direction nor instructions on both the client side and Clearlink side. Frustrations went through the roof due to his lack of leadership. They play the negotiation game in salary and low ball your worth. The client side nurses were making way more than Clearlink. If you’ve worked contracts before, you know that the contract nurses always get paid more than the permanent role nurses with the companies. The work involved in being a consultant was not honored at all in pay.

Pros

No weekends, decent pay, remote, most holidays off

Cons

Dishonest management, When you are recruited, they tell you that contracts are long term and that they will put you on the bench with pay between contracts when that is not true, they permanently lay you off and end your health insurance at midnight. They also take away your PTO time accumulated and state they do not have to pay PTO out to you after contract ends. Benefits are expensive and lousy.
