Pros
Patients- population are mostly self insured, mostly educated and have adequate resources to assist themselves. some benefits are good- healthcare is not that great. Its free to see the doctor at your own hospital (confidentiality is kind of skewed here) but you can go out of network for additional costs. The 403B is actually good, they match up to 2%.
Cons
Patients- well off people sure do know how to complain. Compensation- on the lower side. As a new graduate they offered me an hourly salary that is 5 dollars less than the national average and the local average. They also offered a friend of mine (with a degree looking for a higher up job) a salary that was 15,000 dollars less than market value. I took the job, but my friend didn't and ended up making more money elsewhere.
