Pros
Everyone is smart Leadership is respectful Pay is good, fair, and consistent Management is well chosen A good chunk of freedom and autonomy Lots of space to work on projects and ideas Strong culture despite remote work structure Good benefits Unlimited PTO (both a pro and con) Great vertical mobility Little micromanagement Good structures to receive private feedback/public praise
Cons
Highly demanding. The standards at Clipboard are extremely high. They don't expect you to work crazy overtime or burn yourself out, but they do expect your work to speak for itself. You are fully remote, so your work really has to be above par. Unlimited PTO can be weird. You can take as much PTO as you want, but you're never really sure what is too much. This has resulted in me not really wanting to take PTO, but that is really just a personal thing not the fault of the company.
