Pros

Flexible Scheduling: Clipboard Health offers CNAs the ability to choose shifts that fit their personal schedules, which is great for those needing flexibility. Wide Range of Job Opportunities: As a travel CNA, you can work in various healthcare settings, giving you exposure to different environments and experiences. Competitive Pay: Travel CNAs typically earn higher wages than those in traditional positions, and Clipboard Health often provides competitive compensation for its workers. Instant Pay: Clipboard Health allows workers to get paid quickly, sometimes even immediately after shifts, which can be financially beneficial. Work-Life Balance: The app-based system lets you control your workload, helping balance work with personal or family obligations.

Cons

Inconsistent Hours: While flexibility is a pro, it can also be a con if shifts aren't regularly available, leading to unpredictable income. Limited Benefits: As a contractor, benefits like health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off are typically not provided. Lack of Long-Term Stability: Travel CNAs may not have the long-term stability that comes with full-time employment, and assignments can vary in length. Frequent Travel: While some enjoy the travel aspect, it can be tiring or disruptive for those with families or personal commitments. Adjustment to Different Workplaces: Working in different healthcare facilities means constantly adjusting to new teams, procedures, and expectations, which can be stressful.

Pros

Unlimited paid time off is one of the company's strongest benefits

Cons

- There was a lack of transparency, consistent feedback, and fair recognition of employees' contributions. On several occasions, I felt that ideas and work produced by team members were presented to senior leadership without proper acknowledgment. - Performance management felt inconsistent. You will not receive actionable guidance that would have allowed me to improve before major decisions were made. This created an environment where success felt difficult to achieve. - HR appeared to prioritize management's perspective, and I felt there was a balanced opportunity for employees to fully share their side before decisions were made. A more transparent and impartial process would help build trust across the organization.
