Pros

We work remotely, so we can do the work from anywhere as long as there's internet

Cons

The management decision is always based on US geographical. That means many apps we use to work is not designed to work well beyond US geography, resulting in many of us unable to perform well just because the software given to make calls are not working outside US. On top of that, the management did not take the reason of the current Covid19 for the unability to make sales, because many of the hotels (as our potential customer) are closed down, and that makes us unable to reach the goal given at the beginning of the year. Without any warning, employees are being terminated one by one without given any chance of improving once the market is more stable again.

Cloudbeds occasionally has to make very difficult decisions related to job performance. Covid19 has affected the entire travel industry experience however we have put a lot of work into ensuring that our sales team's performance expectations reflect this. If you feel like your situation did not take all factors into consideration, please do reach out directly to your HR contact. Related to your comments on challenges relating to software, I have shared this with the appropriate IT team. We are working hard to ensure that all teams at Cloudbeds have the same experience no matter their location and your feedback helps us work towards this. Pros

This can be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a high-performance environment. The focus is mainly on prospecting, cold outreach, and closing new business. I’ve improved my skills in running product demos and following up with potential clients. Plus, the technology is solid with interesting features and integrations.

Cons

Success isn’t automatic; building confidence in sales requires persistence and consistency.

Pros

I cannot think of a single pro about this company. At least my coworkers have been great to work with, I guess.

Cons

Expectations are unbelievably high, but support is practically nonexistent. I was given no training, yet was immediately expected to handle complex tasks under relentless pressure with absolutely no room for mistakes. The pay is not even decent, and it falls far below what other companies are offering.
