Pros

Cloudbeds truly embraces being a remote first/ remote forward environment. From flexible holidays, flexible scheduling, and open PTO amongst some of my favorite benefits, employees truly feel they can both work hard and stay balanced. The owners truly care that their employees love coming to work at Cloudbeds and are responsive to changes that their employees want to see implemented. For example they recently added a 401K match and office reimbursement program. So happy with my choice to join Cloudbeds!

Cons

We are a BYOD (bring your own device) environment which can pose technical difficulties at times coming on board. Being that we are 100% remote; there can be a lack of natural human interaction but the company does their best to mitigate this; all of the pros outweigh these cons in my opinion.

As you have noted, we continue to assess our Cloudbeds offerings and strive to provide our employees with benefits to help their lives, such as the new 401k match program. We've recently rolled out a home office program and will continue to assess what we can do to provide employees with hardware equipment. As far as being remote, you bring up a good point. There are many programs and avenues in place to get to know your colleagues. If you have additional suggestions, please share those, we'd love to hear them! Our leadership and management teams are fully supportive and encourage employees to get together and get to know each other whenever possible! Your idea of an annual travel allowance is a great suggestion and will be shared with our Benefits team. If you have other ideas, keep them coming or feel free to reach out and share the with our People and Places team.

This can be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a high-performance environment. The focus is mainly on prospecting, cold outreach, and closing new business. I’ve improved my skills in running product demos and following up with potential clients. Plus, the technology is solid with interesting features and integrations.

Cons

Success isn’t automatic; building confidence in sales requires persistence and consistency.

Pros

I cannot think of a single pro about this company. At least my coworkers have been great to work with, I guess.

Cons

Expectations are unbelievably high, but support is practically nonexistent. I was given no training, yet was immediately expected to handle complex tasks under relentless pressure with absolutely no room for mistakes. The pay is not even decent, and it falls far below what other companies are offering.
