Pros

I am writing this review to give my side after I read two reviews from Developers who had worked at CoConstruct. Few things to clarify: 1. This is not Donny Wyatt or Odel Tuttle (OT) writing the review. :) 2. Neither did they talk to me about the other reviews here nor did they request me to write this. 3. I am not going to try and comment on each and every point the other reviews make especially on interactions with them and others. 4. Rather, I am going to talk about what it is to work at CoConstruct as a developer. CoConstruct is growing at a rapid pace and the development team is growing with that (Covid did cause a small dent, but we are still hiring) In the past two years we have doubled the team and the company has invested heavily in new technology. Couple of years back the company introduced a new Core Value "To unapologetically innovate". This one, is just not on paper. In the past few years we have created a mobile app written in Xamarin, all new pages from this year are created in one of the latest JS frameworks, we are starting to use Entity Framework, we are using lots of Azure features, just to name some. There are some unique new things we are doing that I cannot talk here (don't want to tip off the competition) We have had many new ideas and concepts just in 2019 and 2020: - In the last quarter of 2019, OT asked the entire Development team to work remotely (and hired many remote developers). This turned out to be a true visionary idea as when Covid hit, we were already ready to work remotely - The unit testing effort was changed to "do it where we need it" (at CoConstruct we have always tried new things zealously and then changed things that didn't work based on feedback from the team). The QA team has started to do more automated testing. Personally, IMHO, I have always felt a developer's job is to give code that they themselves have tested well rather than code and throw it over to QA hoping it works. - This year, we were introduced to an idea of a quarterly Hackathon where anybody can take 2 to 3 days, form a team and work on any idea in any technology they want that can benefit CoConstruct. We already had one Hackathon in April, where teams did POC's in Machine Learning, Signal R, Azure blob storage, Azure vault, to name a few. One team even created a planning poker in Vue.JS using Azure features which we now use during estimating. Our next Hackathon is planned for next month and I am anxious to see what new things we cook up. I have worked in many companies and I feel CoConstruct is one of the best companies I have ever worked at.

Cons

I am bringing those up with my manager directly, nothing important to mention here
