Pros
No one can refute that the benefits are great here. This is the only place that I have worked where they offer salads, juice, coffee, and other healthy snacks for free everyday (only at CoStar headquarters in DC). This gets you 2 stars alone!
Cons
The "regional" managers don't help....at all. They pass your questions over to senior reps so that they can continue to talk on the phone, or play games on the computer. Andy is wasting his money on that role no question. All of the upper management treats you as if your only as good as the deal you got "today". They hold your job over your head but really can't afford to fire you because everybody is quitting left and right.......what a game they play. They also seem to train every group of new reps differently so there is no wonder why the level of success fluctuates so much. The base salary is too low for anyone to live off of, unless you have roommates or live at home still. The commission plan looks good but you always have to worry about someone stealing your lead and management letting it slide or turning a blind eye because they don't want to start drama. The system is corrupt. They have reps breaking the lead laws by out right taking your leads or marking inbound leads as outbound leads and collecting extra commission. When this is brought to the attention of regional management they fuss and scream about how you shouldn't audit anyones deals, you should just focus on closing your own. They think money is the only reward that matters. People love money and it is THE number one reward. But when you talk about doing the same thing day in and day out, people want to feel appreciated and respected. They also give out interviews like candy with no
