Pros
The salary is amazing. The benefits are amazing. You get a car, gas card, equipment, base of 95k, bonus opportunities, internal contests for $$$$. Great PTO. My direct manager was so good. My team mates are wonderful. The boots on the ground care about each other and work collaboratively.
Cons
Upper management "leadership" sits in their ivory towers absolutely disconnected from the realities of the ground. They change the metrics almost monthly. The dangling carrot is always moving and the metrics are unreasonable and often seem unobtainable. When you are able to meet them you're almost punished by the fact it makes leadership think it's do-able long term. If you don't have time management skills at a basic level you will wind up working 50-80 hrs a week. I have excellent time management skills and stuck to 30-40.
