Pros

Coach is a pretty decent company. I joined in the year 2020, around November, over several months after the pandemic began. They were pretty good about keeping us as safe as possible during this time, only allowing a certain amount of people in the store at a time (at least in our location). Masks were strictly enforced for obvious reasons but my team always remained polite about it. The culture here is actually very encouraging. Everyone is so good about communication and even the district manager who is so incredibly busy made the time to listen to us whenever we had issues. There was no toxic competition for sales because we didn't work off commission so it kept things pretty fair and peaceful. We always took turns assisting customers as well so the workload was spread evenly. We had individual sales goals, as well as one for the entire team to meet and they always did their best to be realistic about it. We were awarded a bonus for every stretch goal we'd meet as well. Because of the healthy and communicative work environment, I'd say I'd be open to helping out during holidays again.

Cons

This is personal, but I am not a very outgoing person. It was difficult to be encouraged to continually try to make relations with customers when superficial conversation and friendships were hard and draining to maintain. The other cons I can think of is the constant pressure to meet our sales goals and the "TB" (touch base; individual meetings with the managers every month or more frequently). It felt a bit tedious to try to always improve performance, especially coming from someone who is naturally very shy.
