Pros
Great benefits (many plan options, free dental for single coverage, great work life balance program/EAP, generous leave policy), great training program including elearning, if you live in Cobb is fairly close to home as opposed to traveling downtown or elsewhere, job security, annual merit increases when the budget allows although we have't had one since 2008.
Cons
Of course it is government, but the salaries are far below what can be made in the private sector.
