Ehh depends on which department - Human Resources Specialist Cobb County Government Employee Review

A lot of people here are just waiting to retire and don't care about helping anyone else so it can be challenging to start new (And be black) and get other people to help you. I received no formal training from my manager and the old guard/good ole boys run the show. Compensation is low but about what is expected working for a county government. Depends on what department you work in but the systems we used were old and the county "doesn't have" money for investments into upgrades. I would look for somewhere else to work that isn't so politically motivated.
