Pros

- Some of the best people I've ever worked with. - Many opportunities for overtime. - Decent pay for entry-level employees. - Food provided very frequently. (Usually several times per month) - Business hours are Monday-Friday.

Cons

- Warehouse is incredibly hot in the Summer and incredibly cold in the winter. - Frequent lack of communication that causes an unorganized, chaotic, and stressful work environment at times. - A small part of management is unreasonable and unfair with time off when an employee is sick, injured, or has an unexpected emergency. (Including impulsive or "trigger-happy" termination without any warning or corrective action)

Pros

Decent corporate support. Some great managers there. Some decent executives. Caters well to the growing renewable energy market. Can help you succeed if you're driven.

Cons

Inter-office politics can be a distraction. Some co-workers are treated as favorites and are rewarded when they undermine and encroach on another's sales efforts. If you're an advocate for domestic business excellence (made in the USA!, etc.), then the Sonepar takeover a few years ago has really changed the work culture, leading to concerning WTO-style interests being introduced to what was proudly a home-grown American company. Also, with no visible pushback, management caved to government vaccine and mask mandates, despite many employees advocating for personal choice and autonomy. Objecting employees were not supported in the end.
