Pros
The company provide a good work life balance. You should be able to spend enough time with your family and you can easily get away with not needing to take work home. The CEO actually has an open door policy. Not so much below him though.
Cons
You are appraised on the basis of your relationships and not on the basis of your work. You will always need to struggle with politics. The pay is not great. There is bureaucracy and red tapism. Career opportunities are quite low only on the basis of your work. To grow in the organisation, you need to know how to pull the right strings. If you know how to pull the right strings, you do not need to know how to work. Most of the Junior people are hard working but they are never able to grow. Most of the senior people are just smooth talker but undeserving when it comes to work and skills.
