Toxic environment with terrible management and micromanagement - Regional Account Manager Cogent Communications Employee Review

I wish I can give cogent a negative star. This place was hands down the worst place to work in my entire adult life! The CEO is terrible not mentioned the regional directors and VP’s micromanaging. We are adults and constantly reminders of when to clock in and out. The last time I was micromanaged this way it was it when I was 16 years old working at Dominos Pizza! Don’t come here! The reviews are spot on. Glad I am not there anymore! So if you see an open spot, go work and Walmart instead, they are probably more professional there than that forsaken place. No customer wants to do business with Cogent, they were burn before. So it was hard getting customers. The culture sucks, it like a mini calling center! So stay away from this place!
