Pros

While working in India, visa initiation is the only advantage While working in USA, your dependent's (back in India)health insurance coverage is taken care

Cons

India: Low pay compared to other companies. It sounds like a crime to the managers if we ask for compensatory off for supporting over a weekend If you come to office at 9am and leave at 6pm, they feel you are not flexible and that you dont work. If you come to office at 11am and leave at 8pm, they feel that you are the most hardworking person in the project. There was a time when i spent around 20 additional days over the weekends continuously and i was not given a single day compensatory off as the compensatory off expires within 2 months and you are not given a chance to take it!! Some managers are extremely rude, while some are very helpful you are not given a chance to choose the path in which your career needs to move. If you say that you need to work in some other project, instead of planning to release you,the plan starts to give you a low rating during the appraisal US Dont ever work in this company if you are in US, your work life balance will get spoilt. Asking for a compensatory off for working on a weekend is a crime. Managers dont know how to talk respectfully or respect a technical resources ability. Managers make decisions even if they are technically wrong. They over promise and under deliver and if their wrong promises are not delivered, they put the technical resource at spot. Good rating is given to those who are pending promotion, though they dont work much. Even if you put hard work ,lose sleep etc... they give you a second bucket or third and justify the action by saying that you didnt support other project needs!! if you ask for a release, you will be given 4th bucket and then that will adversely impact your career. if you are due promotion , then they would give you first bucket, even if you dont work and justify it by saying that you helped them to create business!! Twice i have been a victim of this. Pay is atleast 15 percent less than industry standards. If your visa is expiring and due to that your license expires, they wont be bothered to initiate a premium filing, and they wont be concerned about the issues you need to face, without being able to drive. They would be happy for saving 1000 dollars.! You must be reachable on phone during off work hours, even if there is no emergency. 7pm, 8pm, 10pm etc it is expected that you talk to the offshore team, at their morning hours (your 10:30pm) and explain them about the issues. This is needed even after you send a detailed email about the issues. They sell you to the clients for less money, pay you less and finally dont care about your well being. If they estimate the project wrongly and then allocate only one resource where 4 resources are needed, they will blame you and give a wrong rating to you, instead of taking blame for the wrong estimation. The technical resource is always at the wrong end if there is an issue in the project.Manager never ever takes the blame. Managers know only to escalate, they dont take ownership of any thing.

Pros

None, run dont even consider them

Cons

"India-first mentality." The company says it wants to work with people across the Americas and Europe, but many decisions still seem to follow an Indian way of operating without properly considering local labor laws, regulations, and workplace expectations. There are serious concerns about job stability. The company frequently praises itself for creating employment opportunities, but at the same time, it appears to be bringing more employees from India into U.S. roles while letting go of people from the Americas and Europe who have contributed to the company. This creates uncertainty and raises questions about the company's commitment to its existing workforce. Every meeting seems to be focused on AI : AI this, AI that, AI everywhere. Employees are constantly asked to complete AI related training and adapt to AI initiatives, while at the same time letting people go so they can afford AI. Compensation is another area that needs improvement. After my contributions and time with the company, my last salary increase was only $20, which felt extremely discouraging and showed a lack of appreciation for employees' efforts.
