Interesting company, over involved CEO, bad culture - Anonymous employee Collectors Employee Review

The culture and skill set in some parts of the company leave a lot to be desired, especially in product and engineering. It's almost a master class on staffing an organization by failing upwards. There are some good pockets, but over all, it is pretty bad. Additionally, the CEO is beyond inappropriately involved in the little details. You won't build features for customers, you'll build features for him.
