Pros

Good pay and benefits. Clean environment. Many great people and good managers. Great flexibility between working remote and onsite. Gym on site. Nice campus. Lots of opportunities for movement.

Cons

With recent acquisition and merger it has become very large. Almost seems as if it was constant reorganizing. Layoffs were not announced, many times are heard of from the local news. Very tough to get raises outside of yearly COL, or promotions. Many need approval level up managers, potentially people you may have never met. You know them, but they have enough people under them they dont know you. Culture can be very cliquey. Some more inclusive than others. Onboarding can be hit or miss depending on groups. Some are very helpful, some will despise you for asking too many questions. With the latest merger it felt like there was a loss of company pride and connection to the company. Used to be you would see the CEO walking around the office. Now that corporate office was moved, there was a different feel. Exit interview was actually an exit survey. Very cold, no response from the company at all.

Pros

Regular yearly merit raises from 3-4%. Out of cycle promotions common if you demonstrate positive performance under higher than typical workloads or time constraints. Value your experience with standard company software, technology, and processes. Great place to start within the defense industry. The emphasize passing down the knowledge of experienced engineers to the younger employees.

Cons

Training can be lacking if more seasoned employees do not have the bandwidth. Deadlines can either be hard to meet on short notice or not given a hard-set deadline at all. Learning curve can take sometimes before real contributions can be made to some projects.
