there is a great lack of communication from management to the employees. Not in all cases but it appears that way more often than not. There is a lot of good ole boy system still in place there. Way too much stress put on employees. There needs to be more claims examiners to process claims. Just not enough feedback from Colonial or the parent company UNUM. Not enough recognition of the work done and asking employees to work way too much. Making employees feel like they are not valued. Takes way too long to process claims and there are way to many mistakes made in the claims process.
