Pros

None come to mind the company is terrible

Cons

No benefits, no formal HR team, no professional development, no real structure whatsoever. This is the worst company I’ve worked for. You never knew if your checks were going to cash, there is no direct deposit. I had multiple paychecks bounce and none of the “higher ups” cared. The AC would break all the time in the showroom in KOP and they would make employees work in 80+ degree heat. Many of the managers are inexperienced and have no idea what they are doing. This company was unwilling to invest in its employees or its own business, and spend all their money on the family of the business-which is why they have been bankrupt multiple times. No job flexibility, no work culture, but they will try and sell you on everything they don’t offer. They owe everyone money, collection companies would come to the showroom all the time. This company overall is so sketchy and unprofessional.

Pros

I can definitely say that the energy and family atmosphere has kept me with the Colonial Family for many many years now. Not only have I learned a lot along the way, but have made long lasting friendships with my coworkers! The business has surpassed many competitors out there and is continuing to expand rapidly and successfully!

Cons

The only con I would say is keeping up with the company growth.

Pros

none that I ever saw

Cons

I cannot stress enough what a toxic work environment this is. After being hired and touted for my professional work ethic during the interview process, I was constantly berated for all of my work and given no autonomy to do my work. I was taken off projects with no explanation and was constantly caught up in the blame game amongst co-workers. Leadership seems only interested in the bottom line with no care whatsoever to their employees needs or creating a safe workplace culture. Furthermore, the entire workplace was a huge OCIA red flag. I'm surprised they have not been reported multiple times over. Flash vs. substance and quality is the name of the game here.
