Good job great people - Shipyard Labor Colony Tire and Service Employee Review

I've worked for Colony over 20 years and the experience has been incredibly rewarding. The goal is to employ life long partners who are all encouraged to climb the ladder in their respective divisions. Salary and benefits are very competitive.

I do not have anything negative to say.

I can't think of any pros.

This company is without a doubt the worst place anyone could work. Regional employees get in tight with executive employees to gain immunity from treating junior employees poorly. They'll drain you until you quit, or fire you for blowing the whistle on a hostile work environment. The owner will double cross you without a second thought (speaking from personal experience), and no one has each other's back. In my experience, this company is not ADA-friendly. I'm hard of hearing, and requested accommodations, but never received them. I truly and honestly wouldn't let my worst enemy work here. If they offer you a job, the best thing you can do for yourself is run the other way. Colony Tire should be ashamed of themselves for the way they treat employees. I have never worked in a more toxic environment.
