Pros

I work within the contact centre of Coloplast UK but it is different to your average contact centre. We take incoming calls from all walks of lives, be it be patients themselves, their families or friends, their carers or healthcare professionals. We strive to give people with intimate healthcare needs support and advice, hope and independence. That is what I love about Coloplast - We do not just process customers, we manufacture products to help make life easier, we deliver their products by obtaining the prescriptions from surgeries, we have different areas across the office that can assist people when they need it- Customer care specialists, product specialists, healthcare professional specialists to name a few. The company as a whole provides many benefits - good holiday pay, tax free savings (virgin experience days for example), private healthcare, free fruit and drinks, family fun day, end of year party and plenty more. It is not only the benefits that make it a good place to work but the employees, my colleagues. I have never met so many passionate people under one roof. I also like how we act on feedback, it has brought some positive and exciting changes.

Cons

The office temperature can cause grievances at time.

Pros

At Coloplast, one of the key strengths is its global scale and diversified portfolio across multiple divisions. The company is particularly well established and highly respected in the ostomy space, with strong brand recognition and a solid reputation among clinicians and healthcare systems

Cons

Limited access to key contracts within the Advanced Wound Care (AWD/WTR) segment, creating barriers to growth and competitiveness * Product pricing not consistently aligned with perceived clinical value or market positioning * Ongoing quality concerns reported with foam dressings, impacting confidence in the portfolio * Lack of visible acknowledgment or accountability from leadership regarding field challenges * Perception of misalignment between field feedback and leadership response, with concerns not always addressed transparently * Limited cross-functional support for sales teams; heavy reliance on field reps to gather insights without sufficient internal analytical or evidence-based backing * Missed opportunities to provide structured, data-driven support to strengthen customer conversations and value messaging
