Pros
Working at the engines lab is first of all really great experience. There is huge flexibility on scheduling as they primarily employ students. The staff is very knowledgeable and you face new challenges everyday.
Cons
There are a lot of times where you are given a task without much knowledge and told to "figure it out". This could be a good thing or a bad. It is often frustrating. Also the staff with most of the expertise is usually over burdened so it can be hard to get instruction sometimes.
