      Pros

      The research environment is very flexible. People in the department are friendly. Good facility and experiment equipments in the clean room.

      Cons

      Fort Collins is a relatively small town, majority of the population here are students or stuff / faculties in CSU, so if you like the life in big city, like new york, this is not the good place for you.

      fort collins is a beautiful city with tons of easily accessible outdoor recreation. the characterization facilities are currently going through needed upgrades

      course-load can feel somewhat limited. certain research advisors could benefit from HR training
