Pros

Looking back not sure there were any.

Cons

I had commercial banking experience and business banking experience for 15 yrs prior to being hired. They reduced me to being a teller processing in/out transactions. The mgr I had micro managed use so bad it drove me insane. she was very young I think it was her way of making them think she had control. There were 3 of us in our branch and the other 2 were best friends they came in late, routinely broke the rules, went against regulations, played questionable games that were more geared for bachlor parties not work. Forged a customer signature on documents, forged survey information to make themselves look good. Which got them praise from the upper mgmt even thoughthey lied and cheated. It was extreme vicious enviroment to work in it made me phyiscally sick. 1 yr to the day I left walked out.... I had had it the back stabbing, undermining, and lack of professinalism was too much for me to bear anylonger.

Pros

Columbia Banking System has been a great place to work for thus far. The environment is enjoyable and the company itself is virtuous.

Cons

There is quite a bit of downtime in-between customers, but this is also a pro because it means there is ample opportunity to get more customers through the door and banking with us.

Pros

Great People, generous Vacation and Sick time, and decent facilities.

Cons

Poor communication from leadership. Typical "Good ol' Boys Club" type politics, and too many convoluted policies and procedures to keep up. Hard workers are awarded with more work, while others are allowed to skate by under the radar.
