Pros
Stable environment with good people. Mid-management has been nothing but great. DO your job and you'll get treated very well. Plenty of room to move laterally or advance. Great benefits, great work life balance. The pay is probably on the lower range for engineers when compared to tech companies, but I cannot be sure.
Cons
Storm duty sucks. It's not the extra shifts that are annoying, it's the fact that you're forced into a role you often have no idea how to do.
