Pros

I am unsure about the person that wrote the review entitled, “Move on, the frustration is not worth it” but I am also a current employee of nearly 3 years and my experience has been very different. My director is AMAZING. She not only listens to me, but she actively seeks my input. I am an integral part of the Work Life team and a part of what makes this place great. Sorry, your boss wouldn't afford you time to participate in the stair climbs or other team building activities because WE are all a part of the Work Life department, it is important that we practice what we preach: maintaining a healthy work life balance. Obviously, you saw the merit in practicing healthy behaviors and participating in team building activities, since you wanted to be a part of it. It was only after you couldn’t participate did you decide to be a hater. Not cool! Because haters never prosper. Also it should be noted, that team activities are done during lunch time. And as far as the people that participate in the *15-minute* stair climbs, they either come in early, stay later, or shorten their lunch breaks. No one gets three lunch breaks a day, not here or anywhere! If you don't like your position change it! There is opportunity here, but you do have to get off your caboose to get it. So don't complain if you haven’t done anything! Also, the opportunities are not just in relation to professional development. I cannot count how many times I have spent time with upper management and other coworkers at the Bulls or Blackhawks games in the SKYBOX! Again, if you don't like your position, get a better one! If you don't like it here, no one is asking you to stay. The door swings both ways, you can always leave.

Cons

None from me. I am a happy camper.

Pros

Over the past couple of years, the positive changes in company culture have been incredible. It is evident that leadership has taken employee well-being and feedback to heart, focusing on transparency, growth, mutual respect, and importance of collaboration. I am excited and proud to be part of this evolution. The ComPsych Fundamentals are embodied in our daily work, making it a supportive and mission-driven environment. Management cares about career advancement, and there is a genuine focus on employee well-being. Leadership does a great job including every level of staff when communicating updates, and it really feels like a big family, now. The new location is a great fit, reflecting leadership's care of staff and nurturing a collaboration environment. Work-life balance is always challenging -- When you LOVE what to do, it can be easy to go overboard, but that is a personal balance to keep.

Cons

Some internal technology systems are still catching up to the speed of our growth, but it's improving. Fast-paced changes can also be challenging, but communication has greatly improved, which helps us know what's coming next and feel best prepared.
