Pros
I left and came back. This was my first opportunity in the insurance field. I was so nervous and scared at first to be starting a new career. I learned the system fast. I worked all of the time. I worked extra hours to meet my goals. Insurance is a tough industry. I would never say it was the company's fault for someone failing to make a career out of a sales agent. I was offered a Sales Coordinator position many times. I didn't take it for personal reasons. You really need to understand the system they use. If you miss a close or do not use their system it won't work out as well. If you are determined to strive for knowledge and to work hard to grow yourself, then you will be great. Most people think they can get a job here and immediately have a book of business. You are wrong. You need to become known in your area, make friends, build relationships with people. There is no insurance career anywhere where money and business is thrown at you. I loved the bonuses in the beginning- 200 to 500 more every week. I made a killing! It really helped me grow. Plus the monthly now has a kicker for your business you keep. People put negative reviews here that don't even make sense. What did you last a month? Lol. Combined taught me so much and their structure has kept me and my 3 boys well fed, dressed, and taken care of. I am a single parent with 3 disabled kids. Tell me you can't work the system they use and not be successful, I'll tell you it takes time and effort.
Cons
Long work days to build your book
