Pros
Benefits (even thought more expensive than other companies) benefits are varied and usually good.
Cons
Company used to be great because of great leadership, but unfortunately has been going down in quality every year with people straight up quitting (due to stress), moving somewhere else with a different company or being disposed of by not fitting in with the good ole system. There is a lot of preference for certain kind of individuals (ccsn) and some of these people have their own internal systems (under the table) to exploit internal sales leads. If you are not part of that group, good luck hitting quota every month. Stress is high, it seems that comp plan changes every time reps figure out how to meet sales quota. Management usually has no clue on how to solve issues and some of the new managers are not even available during work hours (due to doing personal stuff) since there is no oversight on them. New comers into sales roles usually are clueless and find it very difficult to meet quota, hence turning into a revolving door of new hires and people not meeting quota therefore leaving the company (due to bad training/management). You have to compete internally for sales with the call center, third party solutions providers, resellers and God knows who else. Market is over saturated, pricing on products and services is not competitive with current market and the company's believe that our services are better than anybody else's is just plain delusional and doesn't justify extremely high pricing compared to main competitors. Long hours (as every sales job), there is no work/life balance if you want to meet quota, reimbursements on gas expenses is super low, expect to be just a number and be disrespected as such in a daily basis. As a sales professional for this company expect to be everything from sales rep, surveyor, customer support, billing, punching bag for both customers and management, business developer, engineer, your own manager....
