Pros
Free cable and internet, interesting technology
Cons
Extremely toxic culture! Noisy open office which makes it difficult to focus because everyone around you is on calls all day. RTO mandate is four days in office, one day from home. However, they are now saying it will soon increase to five days in the office with no hybrid option. The only exception to this is the senior leadership level, who frequently work remotely. Leadership has assigned people to walk around and check desks to be sure everyone is compliant. Those who aren't are disciplined and laid off. They also pull badge reports daily and keep a list of those who are not compliant with RTO. There is no trust, and it feels like everything you do is being watched. The senior leadership team likes to separate themselves from the peons and refers to themselves as "The SLT". Most of them could benefit from some basic leadership training. The only thing stable about Comcast is the frequency of the layoffs. If you manage to stay for a few years, be prepared! You WILL be on an upcoming layoff list. Comcast pushes woke DEI garbage on everyone, constantly, yet their layoff lists are typically full of older folks. If you like this, you may be a good fit. EVERYONE I work with is looking for something else because they're tired of the negativity and know that their time is limited. My advice is to stay far, far away.
