Cons
This is no longer a company for a long term career. The company is going through so many changes and shedding headcount. They recently hired a project team in the Philippines and laid off US based teams. The US org is becoming extremely top heavy, with more VP, RVP, Sr. VP than is necessary. With each new round of voluntary retirements or layoffs, roles and duties are left to the remaining employees. You are number, and after 20 years with the company it was a daily battle to be seen and survival was quarter to quarter. The broadband market has shifted dramatically over the last few years with more competition than ever. Comcast has always had the financial power to outlast them all, and they likely still do, but it will be at the expense of their employees.
