Pros

Dont really have to communicate with a bunch of people. Just the guests that need extra towels/soaps.

Cons

Managment was awful. They would yell at me if I answered my phone (only if it involved my kids) but then they would just sit in their office on their cell phones all day while us housekeepers busted our butts trying to get 18+ rooms done. While we have 30 mins per room. Managment expected us to be done by 2pm which isnt really fair when they dont help much or do anything. No wonder why they have been through 80 housekeepers in a year. If management doesnt treat people like they appreciate then they will go find a job elsewhere like I did.

Pros

The housekeeping supervisor is a great guy. Very personable and easy to talk to. He is also very dedicated to the job and sets the bar high for customer service.

Cons

The owners do not value their employees. Low wages and lack of tips make the position very discouraging. There are never enough sheet sets or towels to replenish the rooms and housekeepers end up hiding towels from each other just to get their job done. One dryer is down and the part to fix it has been sitting in the office for over a month. However, the owners could care less about sending someone to repair it. Meanwhile, we go hours waiting for towels and sheets to dry. What could possibly be a decent position is made more difficult by greedy, uncaring owners.
