Pros

Good front-line employees. 'Worker Bees' are treated well and enjoy a nice work environment in most offices/locations.

Cons

Once you hit a management/leadership level, you see the disarray at the executive level. CEO is a great cheerleader, and positive interaction when things are right, but beware if you disagree with him or there's the slightest problem with your group/team -- style reverts to 1950's mfg style. Is yelling and profanity really necessary? Also witnessed when some great people - and star performers - were cut loose and treated horribly. If you are not a long-time, buddy-w-execs employee you are definitely not treated equitably. Another challenge: HR team a revolving door for past few years. They had really good people in place for a while, but then put someone w.no HR experience in charge of HR and it blew up. Most recent HR leader is regarded as an arrogant, all-talk-no-action figurehead. This is realty an issue of CEO and COO not being able to trust anyone to run HR, and thus their poor decision-making when it comes to re-org and HR staff.

Pros

There is a great work-life balance. The managers really care about your well-being and are so accommodating to make sure you can focus on your priority projects. If you're overwhelmed they're open to helping you out. The culture and environment is amazing. You can tell the company cares about their employees, and the team is great, and everyone is friendly and helpful, no matter what position they're in! You're also not limited to working only from your desk. If you want to work from the office cafe, you're more than welcome, and it's so nice and comfortable. The office's location is also a pro. It's near many stores and necessities for post-work errands, and it's in a beautiful area as well.

Cons

There are no cons I can think of.
