Pros

There are some really nice people who work at the company. PTO is good for those at HQ 1440 is a great slogan, looks good on shirts.

Cons

This is a sales based company, do not delude yourself that it is about 1440 senior care. If sales is not hitting their numbers, in the community or in home health, they will scapegoat and blame EVERYONE but themselves. It is ALWAYS about someone else. They have lied about services to families, confused families about what is offered, etc and then blame your team for not meeting impossible expectations. They have brought in residents who should not be in independent living and blame communities for care fails as a result of having the wrong type of person in the building. They SAY they will help someone find other arrangements for mom, but they don't. Lack of diversity at every level of leadership and it is clear that the microaggressions go unchecked, 'boys club' attitudes abound. Sales is FULL of 'pretty people'. There is a ton of nepotism in the corporate office. When someone has concerns about the way they are being treated, they are being a 'victim'. When a leader tries to be responsive to changing business needs, they get shot down. When you try to explain your business reasons, they take it like a personal attack. Lack of clear project management, accountabilities and change management mean that things are rolled out and dumped, with little to no training, support or integration if they make it to roll out at all. Lack of clear company goals means there are projects worked on for weeks and then just dumped and move on to another project. Nothing ever gets finished. There is no single knowledge repository that you can reference on how to do your job. If there is anything, it will be out of date and incorrect. If they don't like you, they will use the 90 day probationary period to get rid of you. Not exactly 1440 employee first. This is where the gaslighting takes place. HR will tell you that you are doing that employee a favor since who would want to stay here if it is not working out. Meanwhile they did nothing to support the employee or help them. There are no formal employee goals or performance objectives. You may get a development plan, but some people use that as a disciplinary thing, others as a true development plan and still others a sort of PIP. You are responsible for developing relationships with the difficult people, but they are not responsible for developing relationships with you. Again, you will be gaslight. Usually these people are the untouchables. God knows what they actually do all day, pretty sure it isn't actual work. Also, don't assume any phone call is between you and the person on the line. I have been in meetings where people were not told they were on speaker. He seemed to take delight in the fact that he was not being honest with the person on the other line. It made me very uncomfortable. Benefits other than PTO are poor. 401K $250 'match' is also a joke.

Pros

There is a great work-life balance. The managers really care about your well-being and are so accommodating to make sure you can focus on your priority projects. If you're overwhelmed they're open to helping you out. The culture and environment is amazing. You can tell the company cares about their employees, and the team is great, and everyone is friendly and helpful, no matter what position they're in! You're also not limited to working only from your desk. If you want to work from the office cafe, you're more than welcome, and it's so nice and comfortable. The office's location is also a pro. It's near many stores and necessities for post-work errands, and it's in a beautiful area as well.

Cons

There are no cons I can think of.
