Pros

Nurse the patient ratios are typically kept at 4:1.

Cons

No accountability. No policies set in place for many day to day tasks. CNO has no clue what the needs of nurses are, don't think she even knows 1 persons name.

The units do not work well together, a lot of animosity between unites.

Pros

Good pay, decent management, flexible scheduling while in school and overall healthy work environment

Cons

There is no rotation for PRN staff to be put on call, meaning you will always be the first they put on. Additionally, if you're not used to working with 12+ patients at a time, this isn't the place for you as they like to load us up instead of bringing in more techs and nurses.
