Pros

Benefits are affordable, friendly staff even though they are dissatisfied. Salary is appropriate. Most facilities are modern and technology is current.

Cons

Cutting nursing staff is always a bad idea. Would rather staff leave than allow a transfer. Very poor work life balance. Allowing poor mid levels to run a muck. Not allowing front line staff to voice concerns.

Thank you for the positive feedback about the staff, facilities, technology and our benefits. Our 20,000+ associates are the heart of Centura Health and every voice matters here. Each Centura Health location, regardless of size, is expected to provide a safe, accepting, open work environment where concerns are acknowledged, addressed and ideas to improve receive consideration. If our associates and physicians feel one of their colleagues isn’t providing a supportive and Values-driven work environment, there are resources available for associates to share information in confidence through our Integrity Hotline, with HR, or our Corporate Responsibility office.

Pros

Good pay, decent management, flexible scheduling while in school and overall healthy work environment

Cons

There is no rotation for PRN staff to be put on call, meaning you will always be the first they put on. Additionally, if you're not used to working with 12+ patients at a time, this isn't the place for you as they like to load us up instead of bringing in more techs and nurses.
