Pros

-Management has been down-to-earth. I have never felt like I was being talked down to. -Good pay and benefits are decent.

Cons

-Some hospitals are very neglected - there is a drastic difference between operations and overall employee satisfaction between locations. -No training or on-boarding process set by IT. I was thrown into working with no training and with no one able to train me. Luckily with prior hospital experience, this posed barely any issue but if it was someone new to the IT industry, they would've felt so lost they would've quit.

The units do not work well together, a lot of animosity between unites.

Pros

Good pay, decent management, flexible scheduling while in school and overall healthy work environment

Cons

There is no rotation for PRN staff to be put on call, meaning you will always be the first they put on. Additionally, if you're not used to working with 12+ patients at a time, this isn't the place for you as they like to load us up instead of bringing in more techs and nurses.
