Pros

good new hire orientation program

Cons

- Unsafe nurse to patient ratio - it can go up to 1:8 and they wouldn't care - They follow a grid where there are no CNA's at night for 12 patients with only 2 nurses on the floor. Every night you end up eating in the nurses' station while charting or not eating at all. If you put it in as no lunch break, the nursing manager takes it against you. -Everyone keeps getting floated in the different units of the hospital. Sometimes twice in a shift. Making you chart and take care of up to 11 different patients in a 12-hour shift. -When you're off they would call and text you to pick up shifts. Constantly bothering you because they are short-staffed.
